SH Drabble: Not the Saint
Nothing to do with IN. Just bubbling in my brain. Not my fault. Nothing to see. Move along now.

Not the Saint

Her name is plural. That is no accident. First, it was just because the singular would be too obvious. (Ancient "Saint" Templar...) Then, what point to only have one persona? Only two? Out of character for either to be found here... Invent a new one. She spun them out, self-facets that answered only to the core that was in no records nor ever would be.

It wasn't true split personality. The core could access all of them, become them at need.

She shifted so freely between them, it didn't matter that even the core never blended.

Ooooo, neat. Love persona-stuff, yes. [grins] (And I lack a Kyrio icon, or I'd use it. [shiftyeyes])

Glad it's amusing even if there's about zip-all background! O:>

[giggles] I am curious about the background! But it's neat even without it. ^_^

I'm reminded of the anime Noir.

Interesting. I don't think I've seen that.

Well, I haven't seen all of it, but the series has a pair of assassins who collectively call themselves Noir. Except Noir is an ancient name of possibly mystical significance.

Huh... No, we haven't seen that (yet).

We have it, I think -- just one of the things we haven't had time to watch yet.

Until the core was taken away?

Nope. She's... balanced enough.

Just a bit cracked.

So we're not talking about whom I thought? Or we are, but before the interrupted Procedure?

Of _Queen of Roses_ (which really OUGHT to see the light of day, or at least publishers.)

Odd -- I wouldn't think that this drabble and QoR have much in common.

Maybe one of these days I should try what the big authors are doing -- get people to pay me by the chapter and accumulate enough money to send them a PoD-done book at the end... Sort of vanity scum press.

OK. Works for me. You should have a fan-base, judging from your LJ responses, including lurkers (which I am a semi-).

I'll have to figure out how to work it. It seems to require a certain amount of infrastructure.
